Activision lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2 for Modern Warfare 4. The PC storefronts include Steam, Battle.net and Xbox on PC.

Official release dates and editions

Campaign early access: October 16 PT

The publisher lists campaign early access with qualifying digital preorders. This is not a promise of multiplayer access a week early. Confirm your platform, edition and eligibility in the official terms.

Before launch day

  • Confirm the edition and platform you intend to use.
  • Check the publisher’s latest preload and regional unlock information.
  • Record your controller settings and the hardware in your setup.
  • Keep beta observations labeled with their date and build.
